What’s one piece of advice you’d give new cosplayers?
Be yourself! Your cosplay doesn’t need to conform to any ideas of what cosplay “is” or “should be.” Cosplay how you want and however you’re most comfortable!
What’s your golden rule of cosplay?
Every cosplayer put all their love and energy into their cosplay and deserves our respect and attention. There can be a lot of negativity in cosplay – body shaming, craft shaming, the conceit of becoming “cosplay famous” – so my golden rule is to show my love and positivity!
What does your budget run per costume?
I try not to think too much about budgeting (I can’t handle my own tears on this topic), but I do spend a lot of time looking for good deals on fabric and trims. Some materials, like worbla and wigs, will always be expensive, so I try to save money where I can!
Is there anything that would make you stop cosplaying?
NOTHING CAN STOP ME! huehuehue
If money and time were no issue, what’s your number one over ambitious cosplay?
I have had an original design for Emma Frost in my mind for awhile, and I imagine the cost of materials will be exorbitant! I keep pushing the idea out!

Why do you cosplay?
I love having a creative outlet. Character designs are often complicated, and every cosplay gives me a unique challenge. I spend countless hours just planning how to execute my cosplays – I think that might be the fun part for me! It’s a puzzle and it’s so satisfying to see everything come together.
